Twice a year, the Klein Antwerpen community association and the Middelheim Museum join forces for an experimental artistic project outside the museum. These interventions reflect on the role of art in public spaces as well as putting the historically valuable city park in the spotlight.
After successful interventions by Henk Visch (NL), Ria Pacquée (B), the Romanian duo artists Cristian Bors & Marius Ritiu and the Portuguese artist André Romão, the Italian artist Ilaria Lup will now exhibit a new sculpture on the nineteenth-century plinth in Antwerp’s Central Park.
