MIDDELHEIM MUSEUM > The collection
What can you see in the Middelheim Museum?
The Middelheim Museum is a unique feature of the art-loving city of Antwerp. The open-air museum and its exceptional setting provide a fascinating overview of more than one hundred years of art.
The museum’s collection contains some 400 works of art, brought together over a period of more than 50 years. Pieces dating from around 1900 to the present day all come together to provide an excellent international overview of modern and contemporary art. Every year sees new works added to the collection. Around 215 sculptures are mounted in the park, and work by major artists such as Auguste Rodin, Rik Wouters, Henry Moore, Juan Muñoz, Carl Andre, Panamarenko, Franz West, Erwin Wurm nestle under stately trees, along broad paths and in the middle of inviting grassy clearings.
Beyond the park walls
The Middelheim Museum also hosts works beyond the park walls.
